Music

Grace Lutheran Church provides many opportunities for children and adults to be involved in music and worship.

Choristers is for children entering 2nd – 8th grades.

We sing and play choir-chimes. Rehearsals are Wednesday afternoons 4:15 – 5:15 in the Sanctuary. Choristers sing in church about once a month.

Grace Chorale is for High School students and Adults.

Our first responsibility is to support congregational singing every Sunday except those Sundays (1/month) the Choristers sing. In addition, we sing anthems and lead the singing of the psalm. Our music is mostly traditional. We sing in 2, 3 or 4-parts, unaccompanied and accompanied by piano, organ, brass, or bells. Rehearsals are currently Wednesday afternoons 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

Grace AMR Ringers is open to students (generally middle school and older) and Adults.

Rehearsals are currently Thursday at 2:00p.m. in the Sanctuary. (named after Aimee Marie Reinker in whose name the bells were donated)

Grace Brass Choir is open to students and adults.

We accompany the Liturgy and hymns and provide instrumentation for Hymn concertatos on a regular basis. Rehearsal times are determined as needed.

All our choirs welcome new members. We hope you will consider joining us!
