Grace Lutheran Preschool opened in 1994 as a mission of the Church to provide quality early childhood education to all families in Collier County. We provide the highest quality education to children ages 2 through 5, and take pride in our strong family relationships. The Preschool vision allows weekly Bible Lessons to teach and nurture the children's Christian Faith. Our hands-on academic lessons and play promote kindergarten readiness and a life-long love of learning.

About our School
2 and 3 Year Olds
This classroom is open from 8:30am to 2:30 Monday - Friday.

Sissy is our VPK and 2/3 year old Assistant Teacher
Our warm and welcoming 2 & 3 year old classroom is home to 10 students each school year.
This classroom hosts a flexible enrollment option that offers something for every family... full time or part time working families...or families that wish to enroll their child only a few days a week.
Our amazing 2/3 year old teacher is Ms. Cailey Crews. Cailey is a Naples Native and a Grace Lutheran Preschool alumni student! She began her journey at Grace when she was 2 years old. :)
Cailey brings excitement into her classroom and enjoys sharing her love of the environment with her students. Cailey is highly creative and she enjoys sharing this blessing with all of us! An abundance of creative opportunities abound in this room! You will also witness the children learning through purposeful play and cooperation with one another.
Social and emotional skills are so important at this age, and Cailey nurtures these skills perfectly and consisently. She strives to work hand in hand with her preschool families to ensure that her students are progressing in all areas of learning.
Cailey is assisted by our wonderful Ms. Sissy Patton, who has been with us as a parent and assistant teacher for seven years. Sissy brings a warmth to our environment that is so incredibly important when nurturing young children! Sissy is passionate about having close relationships with the children and families in both of our preschool classrooms. She is the perfect co-teacher and co-creator for Grace Lutheran Preschool!
Sissy is a Naples Native and has two wonderful children who have also attended Grace Lutheran!

Our VPK instructor and director, Ms. Julie Crews, has been teaching at Grace for 27 years and is a Naples Native! She has 3 children who attended Grace Preschool, 4 grandsons, and has been married to her husband, Eric, for 36 years.
Grace Preschool takes pride in providing low student to teacher ratios. This approach allows for exceptional quality interactions! 12 students receive the benefit of our quality VPK program each year.
Julie's love for the mission and philosophy of Grace Preschool has been steadfast for the 27 years she has been teaching at Grace. As academic standards continue to rise, Julie is dedicated to providing developmentally appropriate practices that nurture her students’ love of learning.
Julie remains passionate in nurturing each child's individual learning style and takes pride in teaching her students with and abundance of exciting hands on learning activities. By providing "teachable moments" and "student-lead” lessons, Julie has continued to send her VPK children to kindergarten ready for any challenge!
Our partenership with our Grace Preschool families is of the utmost importance. Together we make a difference!
VPK HOURS:
8:30am to 12:30pm M - F
Wrap Around Care is Available until 2:30. We have 2 convenient pick up times throughout the day. Please visit our enrollment section to see pickup times.
Activities
Our students receive daily spiritually uplifting and enriching curriculum, and spend time with Pastor Lingsch, Director of Christian Education, Kami Jo Mogelvang, and our Music Director, Jonathan Birner.

Mr. Jonathan Birner, our Church Music Director (Cantor) leads the children's Music Class!

Chapel Time is held in the Church Sanctuary with Pastor Lingsch and Kami Jo.

Both classes come together for Jesus Time with Ms. Julie!
We learn about our weekly Bible Lesson as a school every morning. The children look forward to seeing all of their friends and sharing love and peace with each other at the end of each Jesus Time!

Year-Round Habitat
We learn so much about nature in the amazing "habitat" provided by the screen enclosure! Our Monarch Butterfly life cycle happens naturally throughout the entire year! The children are ALWAYS excited to see this happen right in front of their eyes! Here we are, watching a butterfly lay eggs on our Milkweed Plants!

Clean & Safe Play
With generous donations from our Grace Lutheran Church Members, the preschool was able to install artificial turf on our entire screened in playground. This turf allows for clean, safe play and provides a great foundation for every type of learning activity a playground has to offer!

Extension of the Classroom
We use our playground as an extension of the classroom by providing many learning opportunities to happen during our recess times. Students exercise their creativity and their bodies, smell the fresh air and build social skills together.

Active All Year!
We are so blessed to live in Naples, Florida where the weather is great almost all year, and we can spend time outside in our screened-in playground, complete with a track for trikes and walking. We even have fabric kites to help shield us from the sun when it gets hot outside!
